just a bit at a time
from an elbows bend
or a sore shoulder

any little excuse
to smudge in some distance
add to the negative space between us

finding old love letters
ramblings of desperate perverted prophets
who make you feel like I never can
interrupted by an electronic break

alien in your eyes
different and separate
and always alone

objectified me
posing, placed just so
naked and apart
erased into something that looks
like me
kept and faceless

watching you slowly disappear
a point in the distance
started in bed
and spiraling into infinity
