3 weeks out and still waking up late
You said you liked the library close
and you could stay online for an hour

Two cookbooks and its all familiar to me
but in a comfortable way, an easy way
kitchen smells, cat underfoot, bag on the living room floor

you moved the bar onto the coffee table
we watched a cartoon with dinner
My shirt's now missing a button

sweated through, wet with effort
your face between my hands
and the smell of your hair
